A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic patient care under the direction of the registered nurse utilizing the nursing process. The nursing process is demonstrated by the licensed practical nurses' ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning, directing, implementing and evaluating patient care. Supervises Nursing Assistants. Involves general guidance and direction by the RN in charge and the Nursing Clinical Manager.
