Will assist in the daily operations of the Case Management Department with all duties outlined below. The duties and responsibilities listed herein are not intended to be all inclusive but rather to indicate the primary emphasis of the job and establish the parameters for the necessary skill, effort, responsibility and working conditions that make up the job:  Support the Administrative Director of Case Management in maintaining organized and timely responses in daily activities throughout the area of responsibility. Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of various team meetings, (Staff Meetings, and Committee Meetings: Utilization Resource Management, FECC, Quality, MEC Executive Summary, NCD / LCD) and Department In-Services. Prepare and distribute meeting packets. Maintain minute books, meeting schedules, membership lists, and mail message lists. Provide support to committee chairpersons as needed. Maintain the Automated Timekeeping System (Kronos) for assigned Case Management Cost Centers employees. Update staff schedules, process corrections and maintain PTO calendar. Assist with Joint Commission/CMS survey preparations. Assist with Case Management Audits, including the Medicare Important Message Audits. Maintain "Patient Choice List", meet with vendors and set up meetings and CEU presentations as needed. Learn and maintain knowledge all of the Case Management computer systems, (i.e. Midas, Meditech) Assist Administrative Director in the processing of the Letters of Agreement (LOAs) for post-acute placement of self-pay patients. Comply with and actively support all HCA and hospital compliance and ethics programs and activities, and all Hospital policies and procedures Comply with all State and Federal regulations/ requirements, including CMS and Joint Commission requirements Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, rental cars, etc., as required. Prepare expense reports.   Prepare Power Point Presentations for the Administrative Director of Case Management and other Case Management Leadership.  Keep confidentiality of position as it relates to HR issues and other personnel issues.
