Description Nurse Practitioner NP / Family Practice / Outpatient We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner NP for an immediate opening. Our client offers the following benefits: $100,000 - $110,000 Salary depending on experience Health, Vision, Dental CME Reimbursement:$1,500 PTO: 3 weeks 6 Paid Holidays and 5 paid personal days 401k: 3.5% match Flexible Spending Account: $2,500 Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Long Term and Short Term Disability Malpractice Covered Annual Bonus-Up to 8% Nurse Practitioner NP / Family Practice / Outpatient Job Responsibilities As a Nurse Practitioner NP you will provide medically necessary primary care services through evaluation and management of patients in their residences under the direction of a Collaborating Physician, based on approved protocols, standardized practice and pathways, and formularies. Additional responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner NP include: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM 37.5 Hours a week Provide high quality primary care to pediatric and adult groups. Provide immediate patient care and, where necessary, refer the patient to a primary care team for more comprehensive care. Develop and implement a plan of care in collaboration with other members of the care team, the patient, family members and significant others Ensure high quality patient care is delivered cost-effectively, consistently. Provide appropriate specialist referrals, follow-up and hospitalization when indicated. Maintain familiarity with ongoing research and development in relevant fields. Job Requirements We are looking for dedicated and professional Nurse Practitioner NP who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Specific qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner NP role include: Degree and licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in NY Bilingual: English and Spanish. Minimum of one-year relevant experience; experience working in emergency, urgent care or walk-in clinic desirable. Outstanding "bedside manners": patient-centric with empathy, excellent active listening and communication skills, engaging and efficient. Outstanding clinical capabilities and judgment. Focused on collaborative team-based care. Responsive and capable of working in a high accountability environment. Comfort level with using an electronic health record.
