Description Full-time, permanent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needed at a Community Mental Health Center! (Reference Code: KAM) This position offers excellent compensation and benefits! Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. * Inpatient – 2/3 time responsible for approximately 4 inpatients with interdisciplinary team. Duties include inpatient psychiatric examinations/evaluation for diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment (psychopharmacological and psychotherapy); sharing leadership of interdisciplinary team; writing orders; coordinating with medical consultant. * Outpatient – 1/3 time outpatient clinic and crisis service. Duties include outpatient clinical evaluation/ management of outpatients, other services as needed; occasional involvement in consultation to crisis (emergency) services; providing patient education and assisting in wellness initiatives. No on call! Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree or post-Master’s Degree in Nursing within the psychiatry specialty area from an accredited college or university and possess current license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner as granted by Massachusetts.
