Job Summary: Assist in direct care to patients, while continually supporting surgeons and nurses by selecting, setting up, and passing of sterile instruments to the surgeon and assistants. Qualifications: * Associates in Surgical Technology from an approved school * Certification from the National board of Surgical Technology (NBSTA) or applicable on the job or military training * Current BLS certification * Two years current experience as a Surgical Technician highly preferred Must possess a strong passion for being a trusted teammate in the operating room. Seeking candidates who are compassionate, determined, out-spoken in a professional manner when the situation calls for it, a “can do attitude,” impeccable work ethic and highly accountable with a strong attention to detail. Also should be intellectually curious and look for opportunities to cross-train to display your skills in multiple operating room disciplines, such as heart, neuro, orthopedic and robotics.
