Description The locum tenens Healthy Newborn Call Coverage opportunity in Indiana…. -Location: 1 hour from Evansville, IN -Duration: Periodic shift coverage, starting in August -Dates: August 10-12 (future dates, TBD) -Shift: 24 hour call Friday 5p-Monday 8a -Scope: Hospital newborn call only, stand by and care for well newborns only, high risk is shipped out, no clinic, no OB - OB provided by board certified female OBGYN, locums provider only attend C-Section deliveries, Pediatric codes only for new borns >there have been no elective deliveries <39 weeks in the last 12 months -Volume: 100 deliveries per year, <2 deliveries per weekend -Population: 7K -Hospital: Brand new. Critical access hospital. L and D 4 bed unit. Neonate transfer team on site, air transport to larger hospital less than 20 minutes away -Required: Board certified or board eligible Skills If you are (or someone you know is) interested please let me know your availability and contact information.
