The locum tenens Advance Practice Provider opportunity near Bruxton, NC…
-Location: Bruxton, NC
-Duration: Now open and on-going (start once credentialed or per your availability)
-Schedule: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week
-Shift: 8a-4:45p
-Required: NC License, DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, 5 years’ experience
-Scope: Outpatient Family Medicine
-Call: 1:8 week night, 1 weekend per month (additional compensation)
>call shared with 2 MDs
-Epic EMR
-Patient: All ages, 20 per day
-Group: 3 physicians, 5 nurses
- Due to the remote nature of location and contract with Dare County to provide emergency on-call services, it is possible – but not likely – that the on-call provider may have to run a code. There is an ACLS- and PALS-certified nurse (RN) also on call with the provider. When EMS is dispatched, the hospitalist at The Outer Banks Hospital decides if EMS needs to stop at FM-Avon in order for the patient to be stabilized before continuing to the hospital

-Procedures: Simple laceration, lesion removal
-Required: NC License, DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, 5 years’ experience
