Description
The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, Davis, is recruiting a Pediatric Neurosurgeon for a full-time faculty position specializing in the management of pediatric disorders. The position is open to all ranks within the Professor of Clinical Neurological Surgery, In-Residence or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (commensurate with credentials).Requirements:
Successful candidates will have the foundation, preparation and vision to pursue a productive career in academic neurosurgery. The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an active neurosurgical clinical practice, conduct clinical and/or basic science research, teach residents and medical students, and provide University and public service. Basic Qualifications:
• MD, DO, MD/PhD or equivalent
• California medical license or license eligibility
• Board certified/eligible in Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery
• Completion of a Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship
• Experience teaching residents and medical students
• Evidence of clinical and/or basic science research
• Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment that fosters team science and multidisciplinary patient care Preferred Qualifications:
