Description The Neonatology locum tenens opportunity in California … -Duration: January 2021 – July 2021 (potential for extension) -Location: Rancho Mirage, CA -Schedule: 7on, 7off -Shift: 7a – 7a -Call: 24 hour call (round and admit during the day, take night pager from home) -Scope: Admits, rounds, consults and call >neonate role: daytime admissions, all NICU patients, night call from home and they get called back if pre-term delivery less than 34 weeks and/or multiple children less than 36 weeks -Support: Pediatric hospitalist in house 24/7, will admit at night unless conditions above happen -Patient volume: 800-900 deliveries projected for 2021 -EMR: Epic -Group: 4 pediatric hospitalist, 1 Neonatologist -Hospital: 500 beds, 8 bed NICU, Level II NICU -Required: Board certified or board eligible with California license Skills *MUST HAVE A CALIFORNIA LICENSE AT TIME OF APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED.
