Position Details: Neuro Critical Care Locums Physician
Neuro Critical Care Locums Physician - 2 per location Time can be split between 2 facilities.
7 on/7 off, 24/7 coverage, 2 neuro critical care specialists for each hospital (2 hospitals)
Hospital Based
80% Adult/ 10% Peds/ 10% Trauma
10 patients per day per physician/ 10 admissions
350 physicians in group/ 100 mid-levels
NPs will be available to assist physicians in monitoring. surgeons are nearby, but no other neuros spec

EMR: Epic

Procedures Required: Diagnostic/therapeutic taps; Subdural taps; Brain death exam; Pain management                       procedures; Peripheral nerve blocks; Spinal/Para spinal/epidural blocks

Procedures Preferred: Thrombolytic therapy; Biopsy – nerve & muscle; EEG, EMG, NCV
State License Required:        California License
Board Certification Required:      BC/BE within 3 years of training
Additional Certification Required:    ACLS
Travel & Accommodations Provided:    Local Providers
Malpractice Insurance Provided:    Paid
