Description Job ID: 2595 Job Title: : Neuro Hospitalist MD/DO Client Name/Site: Allina Abbott Northwest Hospital Profession: MD/DO Specialty: Neuro Hospitalist Shift times/hours: 8a-6p Start date: May 10, 2021 Job Description • Neuro Hospitalist locum Physicians needed for May start for an ongoing locum need • Ideal start date: May 14, 2021 (everyone is aware that this is approaching quickly and we're looking into the option of temp privs - please highlight specific availability of Providers you submit) • Shift times: 8a - 6p (10 hours) • Shifts per month: 5-10, 10 hour shifts per month • Support Staff: Neuro ICU MD and NP • Patient Volume: 7-15 patients per day. 3-5 new consults per day.100% inpatient neuro coverage. • Patient Population: Adult, no peds • EMR: Excellian (EPIC) *prior experience w/ this system is preferred but not required • Locum will be responsible for consults and follow-ups. No admits. • Certifications Required: Board Certification – Neurology • Certifications Preferred: Neurohospitalist Fellowship would be nice but not an absolute criterion • Minimum experience required: 1-2 years post training experience in hospital based / inpatient work • Department Description: US News ranked Abbott Northwestern #33 in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for 2019-2020 and the best hospital in the Twin Cities for 7 years in a row. Additionally, Abbott recently completed new 43,000 square foot neuroscience unit on the sixth floor with 13 neuro ICU rooms and 43 general neurology beds.
