Description Medical Oncology & Hematology locum Physician to help w/ Clinic coverage needs as soon as possible in Minnesota ; Full time coverage M - F 7a - 4/4:30p - NO CALL ; Reason for coverage: A perm MD resignation has prompted the need for the full time coverage ASAP and ongoing in 2021 ; Temp to perm is of interest as well ; Outpatient ; EMR: EPIC ; Tech in use: Beacon - (Chemo ordering system) ; Hematology is a large part of practice as well as Oncology(Hem: 30% Onc: 70%) ; Patient census: 12 - 16 patients per Clinic shift ; Patient age: adult ; Board Certification in Medical Oncology is required and Client would strongly prefer if locum was dual-boarded in Hematology as well(but this isn't required) ; Minimum of two years experience after completion of Residency/Fellowship ; Interview Process: Client would prefer to conduct Zoom video calls, but can accommodate standard phone call interviews if need be. IMPORTANT NOTE ON MANDATORY IN-PERSON, IN-STATE FINGERPRINTING FOR ALL CONFIRMED PROVIDERS: ALL positions require confirmed locum Providers to fly into MN to be fingerprinted PRIOR to working(this is a billable expense to the Client but can be a challenge for some Providers due to the time commitment it necessitates). The fingerprinting appointment typically needs to be scheduled on a weekday, since most of the fingerprint locations are closed on the weekends. Additionally, there can be challenges scheduling these appointments due to COVID-related fingerprint facility closures and high volumes at authorized facilities. We can always attempt to schedule an orientation for the locum to align w/ the trip out for fingerprinting so it feels more productive and may allow us to bill for some of the hours of the trip out but it is not a guarantee and needs to be handled on a case by case basis. Client will not offer privileges without completing fingerprinting in Minnesota, even if they have an active MN license already. * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
