Description Location: Leonardtown, MD Duration: June – August-December (potential for extension) Reason for coverage: permanent provider is working on getting his citizen documentation to work in the US Schedule: 3-5 days per week Shift: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p Call: Optional, 1:4, Monday – Sunday (covering two hospitals St. Mary’s and Southern Maryland) Patient volume: 8-12 procedures per day Scope: Bread and butter interventional (drainage, central access, biopsies including bone marrow), >DBT (digital breast tomosynthesis), PE (pulmonary embolism) would be a plus but not required > NO: mammo, diagnostic, neuro EMR: Cerner Hospital: 109 beds, no trauma level Group/support: NP that does procedures and one other IR Requirements (boards, license): Board certified, MD license or Compact license
