Clinical Details

• Patient demographic: Adults in the endoscopy suite
  
• Lab onsite
  
• X-ray onsite
  
• 12-14 patients per day
  

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible
  
• Must be interested in locum to perm
  
• Active IA license or IMLC in hand
  
• Either ACLS, APLS, PALS, NALS, or ATLS cert is required because this role needs moderate sedation privileges for scoping and CPR certification is required to obtain moderate sedation privileges
  
• Must be available full time for a 6 month assignment
  
• Clean background/malpractice
  
• Covid vaccinated
  
• Required procedures: esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biosp, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
  
• Required types of upper GI endoscopy: with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with banding of varices, diagnostic, with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), possible ERCP's
