We are seeking a Locum to Permanent Radiologist for a hospital-based position near Chicago, IL. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with the potential for long-term placement.

Dates of Coverage: January 2025 - Ongoing

Reason for Coverage: Recruiting for a permanent Body Imaging position(s)

Practice Setting: Hospital-Based. Providers will read for all three locations but will be primarily based at the main hospital.

Call Schedule: Negotiable

Call Ratio: Negotiable

Average Number of Cases Per Day:
- 35 CTs
- 100 X-rays
- 60 Ultrasounds

Trauma Level/Designation:
- Level I Trauma Center
- Level II Trauma Centers

Documentation System/EMR:
- Epic
- PowerScribe
- Intelerad PACs
- Softek Illuminate

Number of Radiologists in Practice: 10.80 FTEs

Teleradiology: Open to remote reading; fee schedule review required.

Patient Age Demographic: All ages (Locum not required to read Pediatrics)

Procedures Required:

Angiography

Mammography

CT Scans

Ultrasound

Submission Requirements:

Board Certification: Required

IL State License: Required

BLS Certification: Required

Conversion Rate Cap: $25,000

Additional Information:

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months

Reimbursement: Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, and Mileage (billed at the IRS Standard Rate). Local providers will only receive parking reimbursement.
