Title: Nurse PractitionerLocation: Washington State (Multiple Sites Available) Specialty: General Practice Job Summary The nurse practitioner provides healthcare to patients in clinic or hospital setting. The nurse practitioner functions independently within their scope of practice while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct patient history, physical examinations, and assessments. Document findings and develop treatment plans. Review and revise treatment plans as needed. Administer medications and refills per protocols Order and collect specimens for routine lab tests. Coordinate referrals to other physicians, clinics, and community resources. Arrange hospital admissions and complete required paperwork. Assist with surgery scheduling and coding. Counsel patients on health, medications, diet, family planning, and disease management. Perform approved clinical procedures within scope of practice. Complete medical record documentation accurately. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and clinical policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and marketing efforts. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Washington Nurse Practitioner License National Nurse Practitioner Board Certification Current and unrestricted Washington Registered Nurse License Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited School of Nursing Completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred. DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances (if applicable). Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Setting: Office-based with potential hospital assistance. Fast-paced, professional environment requiring frequent patient interaction and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. Exposure to bodily fluids and communicable diseases is expected.
