Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or Med-Surg experience
- BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR system is preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a cardiac unit
- Ability to float seamlessly between units of similar or lower acuity
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Previous experience in a cardiac or progressive care setting within the last 2 years
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) and occasional weekend and holiday shifts
- Willingness to float to different units within the organization as needed
- Valid licensure and certifications required; travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable
