Are you a highly skilled CRNA with a passion for cardiac anesthesia? We are seeking a dedicated, professional Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our renowned medical center’s specialized cardiac anesthesia team. This critical role offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art, Level III trauma facility, providing top-tier cardiac care including CABGs, valve surgeries, aortic root procedures, and more. Required Skills:
- Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA)
- Valid state license (or ability to obtain via compact license)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiac anesthesia experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (preferred)
- Proficient in Epic EMR (highly preferred)
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac procedures (CABGs, valves, ECMO awareness)
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work consistent 4x10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with small ECMO programs
- Additional certifications or specialized training in cardiac anesthesia
- Prior experience in a Level III trauma or high-acuity hospital setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
- US-based CRNA with at least 1-year experience in cardiac anesthesia
- Willingness to obtain state licensure if necessary; compact license accepted
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment
Other Requirements:
- Ability to commit to a 6-month contract (flexible to 3 months)
- Availability for evening and weekend call shifts (minimal call during evenings and weekends)
- Willingness to work in a cardiac surgical setting with a dedicated anesthesia team
- Travel and licensure reimbursement, plus other applicable benefits
