Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a PCU or similar unit
- Proficiency in conscious sedation, ventilator management, and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Epic Electronic Health Record experience is mandatory
- Current BLS, ACLS; NIH certification preferred to enhance your qualifications
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with vent management and telemetry systems beyond basic requirements
- Additional certifications or specialized training in critical care or emergency nursing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree in Nursing (Associates or Bachelor’s) from an accredited institution
- Proven track record of excellent patient care in a busy acute care setting with at least 2 years of ICU or PCU experience
Other Requirements:
- Active nursing license valid in the state
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), including some weekends on an EOW schedule
- Ability to adapt to float assignments within similar units
- Willing to travel for licensure, certification, or reimbursement purposes as applicable
