What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Valid RN license in your state of employment or a valid compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience caring for a wide range of patients, including perioperative and critical care cases
- Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts within the typical 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM schedule and adapt to changing needs
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior perioperative RN residency or recent experience in OR/perioperative settings
- Knowledge of advanced nursing protocols and patient education
- Strong assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU or related specialties
Other Requirements:
- Ability to attend a comprehensive orientation within the first 30 days of hire
- Willingness to work multiple shifts as needed, supporting the unit’s dynamic schedule
