Physical Therapist (PT) Full-Time | Rehabilitation Services Make a Difference Every Day We're looking for a compassionate, patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. What You'll Do As a Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve their highest level of function. You'll: - Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services across assigned patient populations.
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation staff to provide coordinated patient care.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation support staff, as appropriate.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Help evaluate rehabilitation equipment and recommend new technology or supplies.
- Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
- Stay current with best practices through continuing education and professional development.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current (or eligible for) Maine Physical Therapist license.
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard computer applications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between clinic locations, if needed.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
