Temporary Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long Term Care (LTC) in Moore, OK

What You’ll Do:
- Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Administer skilled, rehabilitative, and medically necessary treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders.
- Assist with procedures such as manual therapy, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
- Evaluate patient progress and communicate updates and treatment adjustments to the supervising therapist.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans.
- Document all patient interactions, treatment minutes, and progress in electronic health records per regulations.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and in-services as required.
- Support supervision of students when applicable, and coordinate with the healthcare team.
What You Need:
- Active State Licensure as a PTA.
- Prior experience in long-term care environments preferred.
- Knowledge of rehabilitative techniques and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
