Registered Nurse – PCU Specialty – Columbus, OH

- Licenses/Certifications: Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU setting, EPIC experience, telehealth experience preferred

What You’ll Do:
- Provide skilled nursing care for patients in a Progressive Care Unit with complex needs such as SBO, falls, lacerations, PNA, head injury, TBI, trauma, ileus, fistulas, and fractures
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status using EPIC electronic health records
- Administer medications and IV therapy following hospital protocols
- Perform patient assessments, labs, and patient education
- Respond to patient needs and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide a safe, compassionate environment for patients
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of recent PCU experience in an acute care setting
- EPIC electronic health record proficiency required
- Strong clinical skills in IV starts, patient monitoring, medication administration, and labs
- Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills
