Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU (Progressive Care Unit) RN experience
- Proficiency in managing high-acuity patients and recognizing urgent clinical situations
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and environments
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, BIPAP, and Airvo therapies
- Prior experience working in a NICU or similar specialized unit
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with current licensure
- At least 1 year of relevant PCU nursing experience in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Certification in ACLS and BLS
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Availability to work every other weekend and major holidays
- Successful completion of orientation program (comprehensive onboarding days and clinical orientation)
- Must be nicotine-free facility
- Willingness to float to lesser units when necessary
- No on-call duties required
- Must submit all credentials and required forms by specified deadlines
