What You’ll Do
- Support clinical interventions for patients with cognitive and physical functioning challenges
- Assist in administering treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices
- Evaluate patient progress and communicate with supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments
- Document all services and patient responses in electronic health records accurately and timely
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and training sessions
- Support and supervise students under the guidance of the supervising OT
- Adhere to all professional standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
What You Need
- Valid State License or Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Basic proficiency with electronic documentation systems
- Commitment to professional ethics and patient-centered care
