What You’ll Do:
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments using available records and clinical interviews with inmates
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on client needs and functioning levels
- Document all treatment activities and assessments accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and materials at all times
- Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques to support inmates’ mental health needs
- Provide mental health evaluations, counseling, and crisis interventions as required
- Collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive mental health care
What You Need:
- Current and active California LCSW or LPCC license
- Minimum 2 years of mental health experience in clinical or correctional settings preferred
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, crisis intervention, and counseling techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
