What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and procedures, including balloon angioplasties, PCI, heart catheterizations, and carotid stenting
- Manage vascular disease and perform diagnostic angiograms
- Assist with call coverage, including emergent STEMI responses
- Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists and healthcare providers
- Document procedures and patient encounters efficiently in EPIC EMR
- Participate in rounding and provide coverage as needed in a busy hospital setting
What You Need
- Valid Virginia medical license or eligibility for emergency/temporary privileges
- Board certification in Interventional Cardiology
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Proficiency in coronary angioplasty, embolic protection, and other interventional procedures
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
