What You’ll Do
- Provide postpartum and mother-baby care for new mothers and their infants
- Assist with labor and delivery as needed
- Start IVs and monitor IV sites, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Use EPIC electronic health records system for documentation
- Float to similar units based on acuity and department needs
- Educate and support new families during their postpartum stay
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license or the ability to obtain one
- Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience
- BLS certification
- IV certification and IV start skills
Preferred:
- Experience with labor & delivery nursing
- Previous travel nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience
