assessment of health history
addressing physician orders
in-office procedures
patient & family education
chemotherapy administration
cancer symptom management
patient monitoring through frequent visits on their physical state, as well as their emotional well-being
acts as the primary conduit of communication with patients, often relaying patient information and feedback to physicians
providing direct nursing care, including triage of patient care needs
applies clinical knowledge, judgment, and decision-making skills to analyze and act on patient care issues, and additional duties assigned by Cancer Care Director or Physician Services Senior Leader
