What You’ll Do
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans following clinical standards and regulations
- Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed based on outcomes
- Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Document all services accurately in digital records, including treatment minutes and progress notes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and training sessions
- Support and supervise CFYs or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as required
What You Need
Required:
- Active ASHA and State Licensure
- Experience in speech therapy, preferably in long-term care settings
Preferred:
- Experience with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorder treatment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
