Description
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for an outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Alabama. This is an immediate need for approximately three months, offering a consistent weekday schedule and support from an experienced clinical team.
Overview
- Outpatient Community Health Center
- Start ASAP, 3 months assignment with option to extend
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Potential for four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday
- Up to 25 patients per day
- All ages
- Primarily scheduled appointments, with walk-in patients
- Call: None
- Support staff includes 2 medical assistants and 2 office staff members
- Travel and lodging available
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 3–4 weeks
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Active Alabama medical license
- DEA registration
- BLS certification
