Requirements:
Successful candidates will have the foundation, preparation and vision to pursue a productive career in academic neurosurgery. The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an active neurosurgical clinical practice, conduct clinical and/or basic science research, teach residents and medical students, and provide University and public service.

Basic Qualifications:
• MD, DO, MD/PhD or equivalent
• California medical license or license eligibility
• Board certified/eligible in Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery
• Completion of a Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship
• Experience teaching residents and medical students
• Evidence of clinical and/or basic science research
• Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment that fosters team science and multidisciplinary patient care

Preferred Qualifications:
• Competency in general neurosurgery
